Summer Days

about

lyrics

I remember the long walks on nights we had nothing better to do.
We would spend the nights under the stars talking about what little problems we had.
Take me back to the good days; the days I once knew. Take me back.
Summer days we had years ago will be something I hold dear. And this time I’m not afraid to dirty my shirt because it reminds me of what we had.
Trust me, I haven’t forgotten anything; these memories keep me alive.
Even now as the frost rolls in, I only want just one more summer because I know it keeps me alive; a feeling of freedom where nothing could go wrong.
Even with what trouble we had, I know my friends will have my back. It was with my friends I learned how to make my own mistakes.
When I’m old, I want to be full of what memories I had.
Those summer dreams showed me the girl of my dreams as well as how easily a heart can break.
True love can be as easily found as forgotten.
We all can be as easily found as forgotten.
Summer is only state of mind.
Summer is only a state of my mind.
Take me back.
